Expo opens where patrons can browse through the exhibitions on site, grab a coffee and explore the regions health and safety suppliers or gather information from organisation.

9:30-10:15- Session 1:
Road Construction Safety
This first session focuses on the road construction safety in real life practice. Major civil projects across New Zealand are the coming together of many different disciplines, management, workflows, and deadlines while having to manage the public. There are many shared lessons.
10:15 - Morning Tea
An opportunity to stretch your legs, ask questions of suppliers, service providers, consultants or gather industry specific information.
10:45-11:30- - Duty Holder Review
WorkSafe will discuss the merits of the duty holder review process. What is involved and a shared learning.
Safe+ is a tool developed by WorkSafe that allows employees to review their safety culture. SafePlus assessments are designed for large businesses. The free online toolkit is for small to medium size businesses.
12:15 - Lunch Break
Stop by the WorkSafe information stand and take the time to chat about how WorkSafe are continuing to support each level of business in New Zealand.
1:15- 2:15 Session 4:
Safety in Practice
The third session focuses on implementation of real life safety practices in two key industries for the top of the south region. Guest speakers from marine and forestry industry will share their insights into best practice with take home messages that can be transferred and implemented into any business.
2:15 Afternoon Break
The last time to explore our exhibitors, get some information or maybe even a free pen or two.
3:00 - Close
A chance to see the other exhibits, network amongst peers and share ideas about health, safety and the expo.
